My baby cousin (she's 10 now, so I guess she's not a baby anymore) has autism and her parents were very wise in seeking alternative and natural methods of curing reducing the effects of autism on her. A child who didn't communicate vocally until she was 5 or 6 years old , she is now a little chatterbox, has tons of friends, performs in school pageants, and is as hyper as any typical 10 year old would be. She's not "cured," but she's doing so well, and I'm sooooo proud of her.
She takes no prescriptions (except for the occasional stuff for sniffles and coughs). Her parents use just good ole fashion firm and continuous love, persistence, and diligence, combined with a gluten free diet. Her parents' great choices seemed have made all the difference in my little cousin's life. I'm no nutritional expert, I'm no expert on autism, I'm just observant. Below is Part 1 of a short intro into the world of gluten free baking. Sure, the food tastes a bit different, but it's actually pretty good.
